Age requirements: You must be at least 18 to order any product from us. Some items listed on this website may be illegal in your area for possession by those under 21. It is your responsibility to check all local laws concerning the ownership, use and possession of any item on this website. By placing an order, you agree that you are of legal age, that you have read our terms & conditions, and that you take full responsibility for obeying all federal, state and local laws, restrictions, and regulations!
Credit card orders: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We do not acccept Paypal.

Errors on this site, Server downtime and Site Updates
Because we are only human we make mistakes. If you snag a great deal that has been labeled $2.00 instead of $20.00 we are not obligated to honor that price. Your order will be canceled and you are invited to reorder the item at the correct price. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we aren’t Santa.
We host our own website periodic downtime may occur. In the event that you are disconnected from our server while trying to place an order, please contact us to make sure the order did not go through before reordering.
We will update the site when we are able. Because site development is ongoing we encourage you to email us with any ideas or suggestions. We will take them into consideration when possible. As a general rule we’ll try and update the site at least one time each week.
Product & Warranty
All name brand products are covered under warranty by their respective manufacturers. Products that have been modified are not covered under manufacturer's warranty, but are guaranteed to arrive in working condition. No further warranties apply.
Returns and Exchanges
Returns are accepted, as long as they are done within 10 days (we feel this is enough time to determine if the items in your order are operational and to decide if you wish to keep them). You must obtain a Return Authorization before shipping your item back, or your return will not be accepted. To obtain a Return Authorization, please CONTACT US.
You are responsible for shipping the item back to us in like-new condition (or the condition the item arrived to you in). There is a 15% restocking fee on non-defective items to offset lost shipping, credit card and labor costs. Once we receive the item we will issue a refund. Your refund will be issued in the same form payment was received unless other arrangements have been made. We do not reimburse shipping costs (unless the mistake is ours and the buyer requests a refund). We strongly recommend you insure any package being returned to us- if your return is lost or damaged there is nothing we can do.
* All the products we sell are new, unless otherwise indicated. If you return the product to us in used condition we reserve the right to charge you a restocking fee higher than 15% or return the product to you.
Change and Cancellation Policy
If you order the wrong item(s) you may change your order up until the time the order is shipped. Once an order has been shipped if you wish to change an item you must follow the guidelines in the return & exchange section (above).

You can CONTACT US about a change or cancellation via email or telephone (801-768-0232). If you choose to send an email you must use “order change” or “order cancellation” in your email subject to make sure the email is directed to the correct department so the change or cancellation can be implemented before the order ships.
Shipping information
Shipping is done via the USPS and in some cases via UPS. Delivery time varies depending on your location and we make no guarantees about delivery time (just helpful estimations). Generally all orders are shipped out within 48 hours during regular business days (often the same say we receive them). In some cases delays are inevitable and shipping may be postponed.
Privacy Policy
No personal information (names, addresses, email addressed, telephone numbers, etc) gathered off our website (from forum registration, orders, newsletter subscribers, personal communication or otherwise) will be given, sold or distributed to anyone without written permission. Your full privacy is guaranteed. All email information acquired from correspondence, purchases or other direct contact can be used to send out company promotions via email. If you do not want to receive promotional material via email CONTACT US to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe from directly from any email we send.
Auto law & Legal Status Terms
IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES:
Read carefully all conditions set forth below.
By placing an order with us, you agree that you meet any or all of the following criteria.
Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:
(1) to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
(2) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization;
(3) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory; (4) to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).
Self Defense HQ will sell no such knives to any individual outside the State of Utah without the above conditions being met. This does not apply to automatic knives manufactured and sold within the state of Utah.
Legal status of products
It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from Self Defense HQ. All equipment is sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. Absolutely no sales to minors. By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the he/she is of legal age. Self Defense HQ will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us or any of our distributors & dealers. Also as no product is 100% effective against attack, Self Defense HQ assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death.
Anyone attempting to falsify information or defraud our company in any way, will be turned over to the proper authorities. Any attempts at extortion or entrapment will also be met with swift legal action!
